Bachelor End Tables

The same person who now is the proud owner of my Union Jack table will soon be owning these very masculine graphite colour end tables!

An entire bedroom set...who's idea was that?

So my mom picked up an entire bedroom set for a great price. We have managed to get everything painted, but this vanity is what we have totally done so far, along with the mirror and stool.  (Please ignore the beer bottles in the background - I only have a tiny garage :( )

The first piece I keep

So this server is the perfect size for our small home and will be used to catch all as we walk in the front door. I love it!

Music Music

This table needed a lot of work. It was old, the leather on top was damaged, the varnish was chipping away. I think I've given it a hope of a second chance.

Freshly Finished

So these managed to get finished in the past few minutes/hours, after a full day getting my classroom prepared for my students on Monday!

In the works...

Currently, I have a few pieces on the go, but nothing finished yet.

The first is a chair that will match a desk I have at the store already, covered in this beautiful fabric my mom found.

This server is still being hummed and hawed over. I really like it and might even keep it. The top will be stained and the body painted, but I haven't decided on a colour yet.

Then this little end table that has taken me forever to actually finished. Its all done being painted in old ochre, I just need to cut out and paste on the sheet music onto the leather top in a diamond checker pattern.

Then after that, I have this coffee table to do in duck egg with a white wash on top.

And then, I might get to this chair, or the two dozen other pieces I have in my garage.

Another busy day

So, we worked all day today again in order to be ready to take a load to the store tomorrow. We finished the tall boy dresser, a large mirror, and a really really nice chair that I can find a few places to put it perfectly in my home... but I'll refrain. I'm almost finished the last piece I'll be taking... Those pics will be up tomorrow.
